Norwegians inspired by Australian Paralympic work to improve their own coverage
One of the things about doing improvement efforts on Wikipedia is it can inspire others, especially when the content you create or donate is accessible to a larger audience. The APC has donated images of Paralympians other than their own and of sports where there were few images. This means these images can be used by other countries, and to illustrate sports like Boccia. The text created can be translated across languages.
The Norwegians created a Paralympic improvement drive timed with the London Games after having seen some of the work the Australians were doing and having their own Wikipedians interested in the topic. This work was part of regular weekly content drives with the discussion about choosing the Paralympics found here. This is how Wikipedia works best.
